YERI DROPS HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED VISUALS FOR HIS LATEST SINGLE “How Can?”


Yeri is a Canadian based Nigerian artist currently living in Toronto. His unique “Afro-Chill” sound consists of a blend of music genres like Afro-Beats, Afro-Fusion, R&B and Alte music. Yeri has been writing, singing, and performing at events for the last six years.

Yeri loves to create catchy hooks based on his observations of the world and environment around him and his sound is inspired by artists like Burna Boy, Illpriest, Jhus, Fela Kuti and Wizkid.

In 2020 he released two EPs “1804” and “Welcome To The Jungle” (which you can find on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube & other digital streaming platforms). Yeri has collaborated with artists, such as Ziad, Kwado, Coco Chanel & Savagebeat.

In 2021, he attended the Sketch Program for youth, Unity Charity workshop and a Music Business Essentials course with Purna Music from Montreal. To further hone his craft, he is currently working with a professional mentor and musician Sarah Shafey. In the last year he has enrolled in three programs with POV FILM, Media Training Program, Envision Lab & Production Assistant Training Program.

Yeri is currently working on his next Afro-Chill album, “The Life of Anubis”, which is inspired by death, reincarnation, growth & strength. Stay tuned.
